OSS oil-water separators are capable of providing adsorption condensate treatment for oil-injected piston and screw compressors, dryers and oil-water separators with displacements below 30 liters/second (60 cubic feet per minute). The OSS oil-water separator uses a new advanced filter medium to remove oil to keep oil concentrations below 15 ppm.
OSS absorption is simple and efficient
Condensate enters the OSS through the inlet connection at the top.
The pressure relief port in the top cover allows the pressurized condensate to enter the separator.
In pre-filtration, the oil-water mixture permeates through the polypropylene filter medium, where the oil is absorbed and captured by the filter medium, but the water is not.
In the post-filtration stage, advanced filter media absorb residual oil.
An anti-siphon hole prevents the separator from emptying when flow passes through the outlet fitting.
The clean condensate from the outlet has almost no residual oil. Therefore, this condensate can be drained into the drain.
